Mini Vinnies in Action: Caring for God’s Creation
Our Mini Vinnies showed great care for God’s creation through a litter-picking activity around the school grounds. With gloves, bags, and big smiles, they worked together to make our environment cleaner and more beautiful.
This simple act of service reflects key Catholic Social Teaching principles. By looking after the world God has given us, the children are putting their faith into action and showing love for both creation and community.
Well done, Mini Vinnies — you remind us that even small acts done with love can make a big difference!
Promoting the Common Good: Macmillan Coffee Morning with Mini Vinnies
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our MacMillan Coffee Morning We were delighted to share this morning with the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Mrs Lyn Sharpe and her consort. Some of our amazing Mini Vinnies were there to serve tea/coffee & cakes to all our visitors and sell the remaining cakes after school. Together we have raised £190 so far. This is a fantastic amount of money that is only made possible due to the generous donations of cake and money.
Mini Vinnies in Action: Serving Others and Building Community
After Mass today, some of our Mini Vinnie’s served tea/coffee and refreshments to the parishioners, family & friends that joined us for Mass. Everyone was having such a good time eating and chatting and one of our parishioners commented saying ‘ Well that was just lovely, we need to do this more often after school Masses’. Thank you Mini Vinnies for your willingness and dedication
